The infoGenius automated documentation utility now supports output of the complete system documentation in an HTML browsable form, using tables and hot-links to navigate the generated cross-reference information.
Report programs can now optionally produce output as a series of HTML pages, with links to previous and next pages, and drilldown from totals and subtotals.
An alternative form is to produce a navigable frameset which displays the data created as a CSV file. This allows selection and sorting in an Internet Explorer 4 (or later) browser from the query output.
In additon to Query and InfoGenius, both Pageprinter and Presenter can now generate intranet reports, with presenter using the ActiveX DirectAnimation objects to produce all the familiar graph formats through Internet Explorer 4 or later. Presenter now supports the new W3C standard for Scaleable Vector Graphics (SVG) if your browser has the necessary plugin.
The Genius documentation set is now available as an online HTML archive.
It is now possible to use almost any easyGenius Query printed report, pageprint or plot as a CGI script. For performance reasons it is usually better to limit this to a few users, relying on the majority using stored result pages saved on the webserver.
The Genius Application Suite can easily be defined as a scripting engine for scripts of type "x86" using Microsoft's IIS 3 (or later), Apache or other peer webserver.
